ProFIT Funding Supports NeutroGen's Next Development Milestone

Updated: Sep 1
NeutroGen Therapeutics is pleased to announce that the project "CryoEndure - Development of a cryopreservable, off-the-shelf neutrophil transfusion" has received co-funding through the ProFIT program of Investitionsbank Berlin (IBB) and the European Union's European Regional Development Fund (ERDF/EFRE).
As a spin-out from the University of Bristol, NeutroGen is developing a transfusion therapy for patients suffering from chemotherapy-induced neutropenia, a condition characterized by critically low levels of infection-fighting neutrophils.
The project will support a proof of concept for the scalability of NeutroGen's manufacturing process and enable further product testing. These activities represent an important milestone on the path toward clinical application and future treatment of patients.
NeutroGen would like to thank IBB and the European Union for their support in advancing innovative therapies for patients with unmet medical needs.
